Tiffany Elle Burgess has been writing since she was six years old. She completed a Creative Writing and Publishing Course at Emory University in 2007. In August 2016, Ms. Burgess released her first children’s book, Skin Like Mine. Skin Like Mine was well received and featured in the February 2017 issue of Essence Magazine among other publications. As a writer, Ms. Burgess has contributed to major platforms such as the Huffington Post and Blavity. In 2019, Ms. Burgess released her second children’s book, The Adventures of Junior and Baby Brother: Spencer’s Special Gift. In 2023, she released her third children’s book, Decisions, Decisions, in conjunction with actor, Stanley Aughtry, Jr.
In addition to writing children’s books, Ms. Burgess writes screenplays. She has written the screenplay for 3 short films (FLIPPED, Darling Nikki, Skin Like Mine Animated Short Film) to date, with more in development.
